One year after its debut, Delta Sync seatback has expanded the smart TV-like update to more than 330 aircraft. More than 720 aircraft are currently operating with fast, free Wi-Fi – connectivity on an unprecedented scale. Work to expand free Wi-Fi into additional long-haul international routes is underway, but we are taking more time to test and enhance our service to ensure our customers get the best experience possible before bringing it to additional markets.

Delta teams have been hard at work with our satellite partners ensuring each aircraft has the best technology onboard to deliver the consistent and reliable experience customers expect at scale across our global network.
Delta became the first major U.S. airline to introduce fast, free Wi-Fi for all, in partnership with T-Mobile. The experience is available on most domestic mainline aircraft as of Feb. 1, with full availability on international and regional aircraft by the end of 2024.
